Position: Bike / Electric Bike Technician
Job Description: HEB is busy, growing bike shop in Hamilton, Ontario. We are looking for a junior bike technician who is friendly, personable, inventive and has growing confidence working on all types of bicycles. Growing technical prowess is expected with the ability to work with customers throughout the day.
We service all bikes but only sell electrics.
You will be required to carry out some or all of the following:
1. Assembling of new bikes
2. Bicycle repairs
3. Identifying faults, damage and wear
4. Repairing and/or replacing damaged or worn-out components
5. Wheel truing
6. Installing accessories
7. Safety checks
8. Advising customers regarding work required
9. Estimating costs (labour and parts) and providing customer quotes
10. Repair ticket writing
11. Dealing with customer queries and offering product or general cycling advice
12. Liaising with suppliers and dealers
13. Some customer consultation/sales will also be required.

The ability to work unsupervised
Good customer service skills
An engaging, friendly and positive attitude
An interest in cycling and knowledge of local cycling routes
Computer skills.
This is a seasonal full-time position, moving to part-time in the off-season. Wage to be determined.
