Position: eBike Technician
Job Description: The eBike Technician's job is very important as we depend on well built and maintained electric bicycles to make the customer's experience a great one. The eBike Technician reports to the Service Manager, but is expected to be proactive and be able to manage his or her own time and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Repair, check, and fix e-bikes following our Shop standards
• Prepare and build complete ebikes for in‐store ebike orders
• Fill out repair forms for all maintenance and repairs made on ebikes
• Keep the bench and the workshop clean and orderly
• Provide feedback about electric bicycles and be an active contributor to the service team
• Assist with general retail duties such as customer service, and inventory management
Skills
• Ability manage his or her own time and prioritize tasks
• Good team player and communicate clearly with customers
• Capable computer skills
• Able to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to potentially work longer hours during busy sales seasons
eBike Technical Skills:
• one to two years bicycle mechanical experience
• We will train the ideal candidate on the electrical systems on eBikes
