NEWORLD CYCLE is looking to add a Full-time Head Mechanic/Service Technician to our
team. Prior mechanic/retail experience of at least 5 years would be preferred.

Neworld Cycle is an established independent bicycle dealer, celebrating our 34th year in
Burlington, ONT. We are constantly growing and are looking to expand our service departments
with an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. We are Burlington’s largest premier bicycle
store that carries high-end brands such as Trek, Cannondale and Cervelo.
Job Description:
- experience repairing all styles of bikes - road, hybrid, mountain, and E-bikes.
- Knowledge of the latest bike equipment and technologies including Shimano Di2 and
Sram AXS.
- Experience in wheel building, wheel truing and hydraulic brake bleeding.
-must be proficient in assembly, disassembly and complete rebuilds.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is a definite asset.

• self-motivated, enthusiastic and have good communication skills, both oral and written
• Have proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service
Experience using a computer and general office programs. POS experience is preferred.
Renumeration:
Wage is negotiable and will be based on experience.
Starting $25-30/hr. plus monthly performance bonus’s
