Position: Sales Associate
Job Description: We are currently seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the retail shop. Responsibilities:
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude and assist them in finding the right bicycle or accessories for their needs.
• Provide product recommendations and answer questions about bicycles, components, and accessories.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting periodic stock counts.
• Perform basic bicycle assembly and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Help promote store events, sales, and promotions to customers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and advancements in cycling technology.
Requirements:
• Previous retail experience, preferably in a bicycle shop or similar environment.
• Passion for cycling and a strong knowledge of bicycles, components, and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn about bicycle maintenance and repair.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
